Day 1 – Vendicari & Noto
Further down, this morning walk takes you to the most southeastern point of the European continent. The Vendicari Nature Reserve is a wonderful stretch of wild coastline, sanctuary to resident and migratory birds, and encompasses three separate marshes and a number of unspoilt beaches. A Swabian Tower and an abandoned tuna-processing plant dominate the coast landscape. Bird watching and sea bathing are permitted her, so be prepared. In the afternoon you’ll take a walk on the splendid baroque town of Noto, with its lovely golden limestone buildings. Noto boasts one of most beautiful historic centres of Sicily and its main street, is an elegant walkway flanked by harmonic Baroque style churches and palaces.Your overnight stay is in a peaceful village located on Mount Etna slope.

Day 2 – Mount Etna Adventure
This day is fully dedicated to the Mt. Etna region. Today’s private hike is guided, just because the trails here are not marked so, it could be dangerous to go on your own. A stroll on the slope of this volcano is a thrilling experience and you can get much more from it taking advantage of the knowledge of our qualified guide. The guide can modify the route according to your physically fitness and taste, by choosing among the wide range of trails that Mt. Etna can offer. Your welcoming inn tonight, is located on the northern edge of Mount Etna. Medieval design, narrow streets and stunning views of the vulcano characterize this small and peaceful small town. Day 3 – Castiglione & the Alcantara Fluvial Park
Leaving Castiglione, your route takes you along a lovely trail immersed in the lush vegetation of the Alcantara River banks. The water with its erosive action created a series of very small lakes splashed with rapids and waterfalls, locally called Gurne. Further along, the river waters wedge into narrow and deep gorges characterised by its weirdly symmetrical rock formations formed when the hot lava flow hit the icy water and splintered the basalt into lava prisms. Amazingly, the gorges also marks the divide between Peloritani and Nebrodi Mountains with the volcano Etna. Day 4 – Monte Venere & Castelmola
A great route is in store for you this morning. Leaving the Alcantara Valley on your back, the trail takes you to the top of Monte Venere with a massive panoramic view over the majestic peak of Mount Etna, Nebrodi and Peloritani Mountains. The view from Monte Venere is breathtaking and stretching across the east coast and, further down, with eye-popping views over Castelmola and Taormina’s rooftops. The medieval hilltop town of Castelmola, perched on a mountain-peak as a natural balcony above Taormina and already in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is the final destination of today’s walk. Day 5 – Taormina
Today’s route, first leads you through the narrow and cobbled streets of this scenic village that floats 529 above the sea level When visiting Castelmola, don’t miss the chance to taste some delicious local products, such as the almond wine, whose inventor is believed to be the owner of the historic Caffè San Giorgio. Starting from the lovely Castelmola a downhill route with sweeping views over the Gulf of Naxos and Mt Etna, takes you to Isola Bella and Mazzarò’s beaches, passing first by the Saraceni pathway and then along the Fishermen’s pathway. A wander through the enchanting tangle of back streets and ancient ruins of Taormina with the truly majestic Greek Theatre suspended between sea and sky with Mt Etna, as its backdrop,is one of Italy’s most amazing spots and a classic sight you won’t want to miss. Final Day – Homeward Bound

It is calculated per person according to the number of participants. With more participants than two people the price lowers gradually.
Over 14 years old, same price as adults. (it is applied a 20% off to guys aged 12-14, who travel with at least two full paying adults and whether they be able to cover the daily distances).

Scheduling
You can schedule this tour to start at any day of the week from April to June and from September to mid-November.
How long do you want to walk each day? Custom-made itineraries are also available on request, even with only two people. As with all our tours, we allow you the maximum in flexibility.
Accommodation
Comfortable 3 star hotel, agriturismo (farms) with en-suite facilities. You can require an higher level of accomodations.
Trip Granding
If going walking is an habit for you and have a normal good health, you should not worry to join this trip since it is suitable for everyone and do not require more than a normal healthy physical level of fitness.
Please note that on Mount Etna, the excursion is guided.
Meals
All breakfasts and one dinner with drinks is included. It is possible to ask for a packed lunch and beverages, on your own expenses at the hotel concierge, when there’s no chance to find food shops on the way during the daily routes.
